Achieve Your Educational Dreams
Jumpstart Your Dream is a new program sponsored by our club to address the needs of young girls who have experienced trauma in their life which is causing them to struggle with fulfilling their educational dream. Funds are available to help these girls.
Using These Awards
Jumpstart Your Dream recipients may use these cash awards to offset any costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education, such as school fees, tuition, bus passes, clothes, computers, books, etc.
Soroptimist International of McMinnville provides cash awards to young girls who:
- are working to improve their lives by pursuing additional education or vocational skills training
- are motivated to continue their education to receive a better paying job in the future
How to Apply
Complete the application below for review by our committee. We will contact you within two weeks if funds are available. We may also ask to schedule an interview. Good luck!
Our Impact
Trauma does not determine a young girl’s future. We provide funds to further the education of young girls who have experienced trauma to help them secure a better future.
So far this year we have served three applicants and are seeking more applications.
